On 25 November 2025, NSS Unit–1 successfully conducted Day–3 of the NSS Special Camp at Kottapalli village by Dr.G.Venkata Ramana, NSS Unit-1 PO. The day’s theme was:
“Door-to-Door Survey on Digital Transactions and Cyber Security”
A comprehensive awareness campaign was carried out by NSS volunteers to educate villagers on:
✔ Safe digital payment methods
✔ UPI usage
✔ Online banking practices
✔ Identifying cyber fraud
✔ Password protection
✔ Reporting cybercrime
As part of the activity, volunteers visited households throughout the village and interacted with the community to assess their awareness of digital payments and cybersecurity challenges.
Principal’s Session
Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari, Principal of the college, delivered an informative lecture on Digital Transactions and Cyber Security, explaining how technology can be used safely for financial transactions, especially in rural areas. Madam urged villagers to be vigilant against fraud and motivated the volunteers to spread authentic awareness.
Role of Vice Principal
Dr. K. Swarupa Rani, Vice Principal and Lecturer in Economics, designed Google Forms for data collection and trained the volunteers on how to conduct the door-to-door digital survey effectively. Madam’s guidance helped volunteers gather structured and reliable data from villagers.

- The collected survey responses will help identify gaps in digital literacy and support future awareness programs.
- Volunteers enhanced their communication skills, technical skills, and community engagement experience.
The day concluded successfully with active participation from villagers and dedicated involvement from NSS volunteers, contributing to digital empowerment in Kottapalli village.
