Day–4 of the NSS Special Camp was conducted on 26 November 2025 at Kottapalli village by Dr.G.Venkata Ramana, NSS Unit-1 PO, focusing on the theme:
“Awareness on Child Education & Child Marriages”
NSS volunteers actively engaged in a door-to-door awareness campaign, educating villagers on:
✔ Importance of child education
✔ Ensuring compulsory schooling for every child
✔ Social and health consequences of early marriages
✔ Legal provisions under the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act
✔ Role of parents and community in protecting children
✔ Government schemes supporting children’s education
Faculty Involvement
- Dr. Ch. Chaitanya, Lecturer in Botany, enlightened students on how lack of education impacts child development and community well-being.
- Dr. Sk. Parveen, Lecturer in Zoology, addressed the scientific and health consequences of early marriages, especially on adolescent girls.
Their insights helped volunteers communicate the message more effectively to the villagers.

- The activity strengthened volunteers’ understanding of rural social issues and the need for awareness-based interventions.
Day–4 concluded successfully with active participation from volunteers, faculty, and villagers, marking another impactful step in the ongoing NSS Special Camp at Kottapalli village.ttapalli village.
