As part of the observance of Veer Bal Diwas, the NSS Unit–I and NSS Unit–II of Government Degree College, Ganapavaram jointly organized a “Clean and Green” activity on 29.12.2025 with the objective of promoting cleanliness, environmental responsibility, and awareness of patriotic values inspired by the sacrifice and courage of the Sahibzades.
The programme was conducted under the able leadership of the Principal, Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari, who emphasized the importance of maintaining a clean and green campus as a social responsibility and appreciated the active involvement of NSS volunteers in service-oriented activities.
The activity was organized by Dr. G. Venkata Ramana, Lecturer in Telugu and Programme Officer, NSS Unit–I, and Sri Sk. Ansari, Lecturer in Chemistry and Programme Officer, NSS Unit–II, with enthusiastic participation from NSS volunteers. The volunteers cleaned classrooms, pathways, and campus surroundings, removed plastic waste, and created awareness on eco-friendly practices.
The Clean and Green activity effectively blended the spirit of Veer Bal Diwas with environmental consciousness and community service. The programme concluded with a pledge by the volunteers to maintain cleanliness and protect the environment.
