The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of GDC Ganapavaram hosted a One-Day Workshop on “Single Major Program and Goal Setting” on October 25, 2024. The workshop was organized for the benefit of students from government degree colleges under the NRC Tadepalligudem, with many students participating from various institutions.
The Chief Guest, Dr. N. Venkateswararao, Principal of DRG Government Degree College, Tadepalligudem, and NRC Tadepalligudem, inaugurated the workshop and shared insights on the transformative Single Major Program. The sessions focused on the newly introduced system in degree courses, aiming to provide students with a deeper understanding of this academic structure, along with strategies for effective goal setting.
Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari commended the IQAC for organizing this relevant workshop and encouraged students to apply the guidance from these sessions to make informed academic choices. The event was coordinated by IQAC Coordinator Dr. Ch. Chaitanya.
Senior faculty members including Dr. T. Akkiraju, Dr. K. Swarupa Rani (Lecturer in Economics), Sri NVNB Srinivasarao (Lecturer in Chemistry), Sri KV Ganesh Kumar (Lecturer in Physics), and Dr. G. Venkata Ramana (Lecturer in Telugu) served as resource persons, each delivering sessions on the workshop topics.
The program also included a student activity session, engaging participants in applying the principles discussed, and encouraging practical goal-setting exercises.
