On the occasion of Swami Vivekananda’s Birth Anniversary, the Rudraraju Foundation Merit Student Award – 2026, instituted under the theme “Encouragement for Youth”, was presented to Sri Jilagam Santharaju, a student of III B.Sc (Honours) Chemistry, S.Ch.V.P.M.R. Government Degree College, Ganapavaram, in recognition of his outstanding academic performance and overall excellence on 26.01.2026.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari, Principal, who emphasized the importance of nurturing merit, discipline, and value-based education among youth.
The award was generously sponsored by Sri R. Vijaya Raju (USA) and presented by Sri Rudraraju Venkata Suryanarayana Raju, Chairman, Rudraraju Foundation. The award comprised a cash prize and a certificate of appreciation, aimed at motivating meritorious students to pursue academic excellence and societal responsibility.
