In an effort to foster cultural diversity and strengthen the bonds among its vibrant student community, Women Empowerment Cell (WEC) of the institution organized a spirited celebration of Sankranthi (Pongal) entitled “Sankranthi Sambaralu”. The event held from 08.01.2024 to 11.01.2024 proved to be a colorful and joyous affair, bringing together students from various backgrounds to partake in the rich cultural tapestry that defines the spirit of Sankranthi. The college campus buzzed with excitement as students adorned traditional attire on the last day of the extravaganza 11.01.2024, transforming the atmosphere into a kaleidoscope of vibrant colors. The central gathering area was adorned with traditional decorations, including rangoli designs depicting elements of the harvest season. Rangoli, Mehandi, Spreed Cycling, Slow Cycling and Memory Test competitions are conducted for students. Staff members breaking away from the usual work routine, actively took part in the funny games organized on 11.01.2024 fostering camaraderie and laughter among colleagues. Prizes were distributed to the winners by Principal Dr.P.Nirmala Kumari and the event was coordinated by WEC Coordinator Dr.K.Swarupa Rani.
