In response to the requirement of engaging a Guest Lecturer in the Department of Physical Education for the academic year 2025–26, Government Degree College, Ganapavaram issued a recruitment notification on 18.12.2025, inviting applications from eligible candidates as per the prescribed norms.
A total of five (05) applications were received within the stipulated time. Out of these, three (03) candidates appeared for the interview and demonstration process conducted by the duly constituted Selection Committee.
The selection process was conducted in a transparent, systematic, and merit-based manner under the able leadership of the Principal, Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari, who ensured that the entire procedure adhered to institutional and academic standards.
Each candidate was evaluated on a 100-point scale under the following parameters:
- Post Graduation Percentage – 15 Marks
- NET / APSET Qualification – 15 Marks
- Ph.D. Qualification – 15 Marks
- Additional Qualifications – 15 Marks
- Games Participation / Sports Achievements – 10 Marks
- Demonstration (Practical / Teaching Skills) – 10 Marks
- Student Feedback – 10 Marks
- Interview Performance – 10 Marks
The candidates delivered demonstration sessions on Physical Education topics in the presence of the Selection Committee and students on 30.12.2025. Student feedback was collected during and after the demonstrations and was duly considered as part of the evaluation process.
The process was conducted in coordination with the IQAC Coordinator, ensuring adherence to quality benchmarks and institutional norms. Based on the aggregate score, academic credentials, demonstration performance, interview, and student feedback, the Selection Committee finalized the results and recommended the appointment of the selected candidate(s) as Guest Lecturer(s) in the Department of Physical Education for the academic year 2025–26.
