A Semester Internship Awareness Session was conducted on 21 November 2025 for the final-year students of S.Ch.V.P.M.R. Government Degree College, Ganapavaram. The programme aimed to provide students with clear guidance on internship requirements, procedures, documentation, and the significance of internship training in enhancing employability.
Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari addressed the students and highlighted the importance of internships in gaining practical exposure and industry-relevant skills. She encouraged students to participate actively and make the best use of internship opportunities aligned with their academic and career goals.
Vice Principal Dr. K. Swarupa Rani appreciated the initiative and urged students to approach internships with dedication and responsibility. She emphasized that hands-on experience plays a crucial role in shaping professional competencies.
The programme was coordinated by Dr. G. Sarada Devi, Internship Coordinator, who explained in detail the structure of the semester internship, guidelines for selecting organizations, submission procedures, mentor allocation, and evaluation criteria. She also clarified doubts raised by students regarding timelines, reporting formats, and assessment methods.
The session proved highly informative and helped final-year students gain a comprehensive understanding of the internship process, preparing them for successful participation in the upcoming semester internship programme.
