As part of the Student Induction Programme (SIP) – 2025-26, the Department of Telugu of S.CH.V.P.M.R. Government Degree College, Ganapavaram organized Elocution and Essay Writing Competitions on 25th October 2025 (Saturday) to encourage students to express their thoughts, enhance communication skills, and develop confidence in public speaking and writing.
Students enthusiastically participated in both competitions, presenting their ideas on contemporary social and educational themes. The activity aimed to nurture creativity, clarity of expression, and linguistic ability among newly admitted students.
Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari, Principal, appreciated the participants for their active involvement and highlighted the importance of such literary events in improving communication and leadership qualities. Dr. K. Swarupa Rani, Vice Principal, and Sri K.V. Ganesh Kumar, IQAC Coordinator, also commended the efforts of the organizers and participants.
The programme was coordinated by Dr. G. Venkata Ramana, Lecturer in Telugu & SIP Coordinator, with active support from faculty members of various departments.
