As part of the Super GST – Super Savings Campaign, the Department of Commerce of S.CH.V.P.M.R. Government Degree College, Ganapavaram, organized industry visits to Virat Polymers and Reliance Smart Point in Ganapavaram, on 14th October 2025. The visit aimed to provide students with practical exposure to GST implementation and billing mechanisms in real business environments.
Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari, Principal, and Dr. K. Swarupa Rani, Vice Principal, accompanied the students and appreciated the Commerce Department for taking this initiative as part of the awareness activities under the Super GST Campaign.
During the visit, students interacted with store managers and staff to understand how GST rates, invoices, and digital billing systems are applied in day-to-day transactions. The managers shared insights on how GST 2.0 reforms have simplified accounting and benefitted both businesses and customers.
The program was coordinated by Smt. P. Balamanikanta, Lecturer in Commerce, with the support of Smt. B. Rani Durga and Sri S. Venkanna Babu, faculty members of the Commerce Department.
