In line with the circular issued by the University Grants Commission (UGC), the NSS Unit I of the college under the guidance of NSS Officer Dr. G. Venkata Ramana, planned to organize the “Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign-2024” from September 17, 2024, to October 2, 2024. This national initiative aimed to raise awareness about cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation as part of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
During the campaign, students and staff participated in various activities, including campus cleaning drives, awareness rallies, waste management workshops, and tree plantation events. Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari emphasized the importance of cleanliness for a healthy society and encouraging students to adopt eco-friendly habits.
