Government Degree College, Ganapavaram, celebrated Telugu Basha Dinotsavam on 29.08.2025 to mark the birth anniversary of Gidugu Venkata Ramamurthy, the pioneer of modern Telugu language reform.
The programme was organized by Dr. G. Venkata Ramana, Lecturer in Telugu & NSS Unit-I Coordinator, in collaboration with both NSS Units. The event highlighted the richness of the Telugu language and the importance of preserving and promoting it among younger generations.
Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari, Vice Principal Dr. K. Swarupa Rani, IQAC Coordinator Sri K. V. Ganesh Kumar, and NSS Unit-II Coordinator Sri Sk. Ansari graced the occasion and encouraged students to take pride in their mother tongue.
As part of the celebrations, competitions were conducted for students, and winners were awarded prizes, making the event both engaging and memorable.
