World Human Rights Day-10.12.2024

The Departments of History and Social Work jointly organized a program on the occasion of World Human Rights Day to promote awareness about fundamental rights and their significance in a democratic society.

Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari inaugurated the event, emphasizing the importance of human rights in fostering equality and justice. IQAC Coordinator Dr. Ch. Chaitanya highlighted the role of educational institutions in sensitizing students about their rights and responsibilities as citizens.

Faculty members from the Departments of History and Social Work, including Sri P. Bhaskararao, Lecturer in History, and Dr. G. Venkata Rao, Lecturer in Social Work, guided the discussions and activities during the event. Students participated enthusiastically in interactive sessions, focusing on contemporary human rights issues and solutions.

The program concluded with a pledge by the participants to uphold and promote human rights in their communities.
