The Swachh Andhra – Swarna Andhra (SASA) committee in collaboration with the Department of Zoology of Sri Chintalapati Varaparasada Murthy Raju Government Degree College, Ganapavaram, observed World Mosquito Day on 20.08.2025 to create awareness about mosquito-borne diseases and their prevention.
The program was organized under the guidance of Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari and Vice Principal Dr. K. Swarupa Rani. IQAC Coordinator Mr. K.V. Ganesh Kumar appreciated the initiative, highlighting the importance of preventive healthcare awareness among students and the community.
The event was coordinated by SASA Coordinator Dr. D. G. Venkata Rao and Department of Zoology In-charge D. Sk. Parveen. Informative sessions highlighted the dangers of diseases like malaria, dengue, and chikungunya, and provided students with practical tips on maintaining hygiene and reducing mosquito breeding grounds.
Students and faculty actively participated, making the program a meaningful step in fostering health awareness and community responsibility.
