S.Ch.V.P.M.R. Government Degree College, Ganapavaram observed World Social Justice Day with an awareness programme organized by the Departments of History and Social Work.
The programme was presided over by the Principal, Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari, who emphasized that social harmony and national development can be achieved only when equal opportunities are ensured for all sections of society. She stated that the United Nations has been observing World Social Justice Day since 2009 to promote awareness about equality, fairness, and social justice across the world.
The Vice Principal, Dr. K. Swarupa Rani, Lecturer in Economics, highlighted that social justice can be realized only when inequalities among individuals are eliminated. The IQAC Coordinator, Sri K. V. Ganesh Kumar, stressed the need for equal justice and inclusive development in society.
The programme was attended by faculty members including Dr. G. Venkata Rao (Social Work), Sri P. Bhaskara Rao, Dr. G. Sharada Devi, Smt. Bala Manikanta, Sri Ramesh, Sri Venkat, along with non-teaching staff and students.
The event aimed at creating awareness among students on the importance of social justice and equality in society.
