The Department of History of S.CH.V.P.M.R. Government Degree College, Ganapavaram, celebrated World Students’ Day on 15th October 2025 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, the “People’s President” and a great inspiration to students.
Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari, Principal, presided over the programme and urged students to follow Dr. Kalam’s ideals of hard work, humility, and innovation. Sri K.V. Ganesh Kumar, IQAC Coordinator, and Dr. G. Sarada Devi, Lecturer in Mathematics, addressed the gathering, highlighting Kalam’s vision for youth empowerment and nation-building.
The event was coordinated by Sri P. Bhaskara Rao, Lecturer in History, and included speeches and reflections by students on Dr. Kalam’s contributions to science, education, and leadership.
