Government Degree College, Ganapavaram, solemnly observed World Water Day on 22.03.2025, highlighting the critical importance of water conservation and sustainable usage. The event was collaboratively organized by the Departments of Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, NSS Units, and the Eco Club.
A PowerPoint presentation was delivered to the students, emphasizing the significance of water in sustaining life and the pressing need to conserve this vital resource. The presentation also shed light on global water challenges and practical measures for responsible water usage.
Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari addressed the gathering, urging students to adopt water-saving practices in their daily lives. Vice-principal Sri P.Madhuraju and IQAC Coordinator Dr. Ch. Chaitanya emphasized the role of youth in promoting water conservation initiatives. Faculty members and students actively participated, making the program impactful and informative.
