S.Ch.V.P.M.R. Government Degree College, Ganapavaram celebrated English Language Day / Birth and Death Anniversary of William Shakespeare on 22 April 2026 at 11:00 AM.
The programme began with the opening remarks by the Principal, Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari, who highlighted the significance of English Language Day and the timeless contribution of William Shakespeare to world literature.
IQAC Coordinator, Sri P. V. Ganesh Kumar, along with faculty members, graced the occasion.
On this occasion, Dr. Ch. Anuradha and Sri Ch. Rajababu from the Department of English spoke about the greatness and literary legacy of Shakespeare.
Dr. G. Venkata Ramana (Department of Telugu) and Sri P. Bhaskara Rao (Department of History) also shared their views on the relevance of Shakespeare’s works in contemporary times.
D.Bharani, I B.Sc (Hon) Comp. Science expressed her thoughts on Shakespeare and his influence on literature.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Ch. Anuradha, marking the successful conduct of the event.
