State 4th Rank in Physics for K. Kumari; 22 Students Qualify in APPGCET–2026 & APICET–2026-29.05.2026

Students of S.Ch.V.P.M.R. Government Degree College, Ganapavaram have achieved remarkable success in APPGCET–2026 and APICET–2026, bringing laurels to the institution through their excellent performance in various disciplines.

The highlight of the results was the achievement of K. Kumari (H.T. No. 461055020242), who secured an impressive State 4th Rank in Physics, earning distinguished recognition for the college at the state level. Further strengthening the college’s reputation in Physics, A. Jayasri (H.T. No. 461055020002) secured State 8th Rank, S. Renuka Devi (H.T. No. 461055020471) secured 11th Rank, and S. Prathima Durga (H.T. No. 461055020481) secured 25th Rank.

The Department of Chemistry delivered an impressive performance, with several students securing top state ranks and bringing further distinction to the college. S. Chaitra Vani (H.T. No. 460255010167) and A. Mohana Naga Satya Priya (H.T. No. 460294010013) secured State 45th Rank, while P. Swarupa Rani (H.T. No. 460294011027) secured 58th Rank, reflecting the academic strength of the department. Adding to this accomplishment, S. Chaitra Vani has also qualified in CUET (PG), making her eligible for admission to prestigious Central Universities across the country and opening new avenues for higher studies and research.

Other APPGCET rank holders include M. Swathi (Chemistry – 195 Rank), Kondru Joy Stephia (Commerce – 234 Rank), Buddala Naga Venu (Commerce – 276 Rank), Buddala Rama Devi (Commerce – 378 Rank), S. Mounika (Chemistry – 400 Rank), Bandi Umesh (Botany – 604 Rank; Zoology – 943 Rank), and Jilagam Santha Raju (Chemistry – 1071 Rank).

In APICET–2026, students also performed commendably. Saladi Gowtham Gangadhar Sai secured 2063 Rank, Koppisetti Uma Shankar secured 3001 Rank, B.S.S.S.V. Lakshmi secured 5870 Rank, D.V.A. Manga secured 6351 Rank, Sheik Najumunnisha secured 10747 Rank, B. Priyanka secured 13538 Rank, and M. Hanuman Manikanta secured 20247 Rank.

A total of 22 qualifications were secured by the students of the college in APPGCET and APICET examinations, demonstrating the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and higher education progression.

Congratulating the students, Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari, Principal, stated that the outstanding results were a reflection of the hard work of students, the dedication of faculty members, and the support extended by parents. She appreciated all the successful candidates and wished them success in their higher education pursuits.

Dr. K. Swarupa Rani, Vice Principal, expressed confidence that the students would make the best use of the opportunities available through postgraduate and professional education.

Sri K. V. Ganesh Kumar, IQAC Coordinator, remarked that the results reflect the quality standards maintained by the institution and its continuous efforts toward student academic advancement.

The Principal specially appreciated Sri K. V. Ganesh Kumar, Lecturer in Physics, Sri N. V. N. B. Srinivasa Rao, Lecturer in Chemistry, and other faculty members who provided academic guidance and coaching to the students.

A noteworthy achievement was the success of the State-Level Free Online PG Entrance Coaching Programme organized by the Department of Physics. Students who participated in this initiative achieved exceptional results at the state level. Sk. P. G. Reehana of SKR & SKR Government Degree College for Women (A), Kadapa secured State 1st Rank with 99/100 marks, while K. Ravi Kiran of S.V.K.P. & Dr. K.S. Raju Arts & Science College, Penugonda secured State 2nd Rank with 97/100 marks. These achievements highlight the quality and effectiveness of the coaching programme conducted by the department.

The management, faculty, and staff of the college congratulated all the successful candidates and extended their best wishes for their future academic and professional endeavors.
