Speaking at the Women’s Equality Day program held on Wednesday at Ganapavaram Government Degree College, Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari emphasized that women constitute half of society, and their progress is fundamental to the development of the nation.
Addressing the gathering, Ch. Anuradha highlighted the importance of providing women equal opportunities alongside men in education, employment, financial, social, and political sectors. Vice Principal Dr. K. Swarupa Rani encouraged women to build awareness regarding their rights and move forward with self-confidence. IQAC Coordinator V.K.V. Ganesh Kumar advised students to foster greater awareness on gender equality and women empowerment.
