In alignment with the Swarna Andhra Swachha Andhra (SASA) circular and the directive to observe the Third Saturday as a Health & Hygiene Awareness Day, Sri Chintalapudi Varaprasada Murthy Raju Government Degree College, Ganapavaram organized a series of hygiene-focused activities on 13th, 14th & 15th November 2025.
Day–1: Handwashing Activity (13.11.2025)
Students and staff participated in a practical handwashing activity, demonstrating proper hygiene practices to prevent infections and promote healthy living.
Day–2: Awareness Programme at Boys High School, Ganapavaram (14.11.2025)
A special outreach programme was conducted at Boys High School, Ganapavaram, where students were educated about personal hygiene, environmental cleanliness, and disease prevention through interactive demonstrations.
Day–3: Health & Hygiene Awareness Programme on Campus (15.11.2025 – Third Saturday)
The main campus-level activity included:
- Awareness Talk on Personal & Community Hygiene
- Hygiene Pledge
These programmes were coordinated by SASA Coordinator Dr. G. Venkata Rao, Lecturer in Social Work, in collaboration with NSS Unit–I & Unit–II.
Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari appreciated the initiative and stressed the importance of cleanliness in public health.
Vice Principal Dr. K. Swarupa Rani encouraged students to practice hygiene as a lifelong habit.
NSS Programme Officers, faculty members, and students actively participated in all activities.
