S.Ch.V.P.M.R. Government Degree College, Ganapavaram organized a 3-hour student engagement programme titled “Stree Shakti” on 13 April 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the IQAC Room, focusing on the Women’s Reservation Bill, 2023 (Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam).
The programme aimed to create awareness among students on the importance of women’s representation in governance and to connect national policy initiatives with the impactful women welfare schemes of the Government of Andhra Pradesh under the Maha Shakti initiative.
🎤 The session began with an inspiring address by Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari, Principal, who emphasized that inclusive development is possible only through active participation of women in decision-making.
🎤 Sri K.V. Ganesh Kumar, IQAC Coordinator, highlighted the role of educational institutions in promoting awareness on public policies and responsible citizenship.
🎤 The programme was effectively coordinated by Dr. G. Venkata Ramana, Lecturer in Telugu, who facilitated active student engagement throughout the session.
