Capacity Building Programme on “Neuronal Rewiring & Personal Transformation”- 20.04.2026 to 28.04.2026

The Human Resource Club of S.Ch.V.P.M.R. Government Degree College, Ganapavaram organized a 6-day Capacity Building Programme titled “Neuronal Rewiring & Personal Transformation” from 20-04-2026 to 28-04-2026 for first year students.

The programme was presided over by Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari, who emphasized the importance of behavioral development, discipline, and personality building among students.
Vice Principal Dr. K. Swarupa Rani highlighted the significance of habit formation and personal transformation in student life.
IQAC Coordinator Sri K. V. Ganesh Kumar stressed the role of educational institutions in nurturing self-awareness, motivation, and life skills among students.

The programme featured a series of sessions:

  • Day 1: Brain Plasticity – Understanding the Ability to Change by Dr. Ch. Chaitanya, Lecturer in Botany
  • Day 2: Habits – Breaking and Building Habits by Dr. K. Swarupa Rani, Lecturer in Economics
  • Day 3: Training the Brain Through Effort by Sri K. V. Ganesh Kumar, Lecturer in Physics
  • Day 4: Norms & Values: Becoming a Better Student by Dr. Sk. Parveen, Lecturer in Zoology
  • Day 5: Applying Change: Practice & Reinforcement by Dr. Ch. Chaitanya (activity-based role plays), Lecturer in Botany
  • Day 6:
    • Emotional Regulation – Controlling Emotions by Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari, Principal
    • Commitment to Transformation by Dr. G. Venkata Ramana, Lecturer in Telugu

The sessions focused on brain plasticity, habit formation, emotional intelligence, values, motivation, and sustained personal change through practice and reinforcement. Interactive discussions, activities, role plays, and self-assessment exercises made the programme highly engaging and practical.

Around 40 students from various groups and faculty members actively participated. The programme encouraged students to adopt positive habits, develop a growth mindset, and work towards continuous self-improvement.

The programme was successfully coordinated by Dr. Ch. Chaitanya, Lecturer in Botany, reflecting the institution’s commitment to holistic student development and capacity building.
