An awareness programme on **Artificial Intelligence (AI)** was conducted for students at **S.CH.V.P.M.R Government Degree College, Ganapavaram** on Tuesday, 18 August 2026.
The programme highlighted the growing importance of Artificial Intelligence and its promising future. **Ms. Jyothi Kiranmayi, AI Lecturer from Tanuku Government Degree College**, explained the various opportunities available to students through the study and application of AI.
College **Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari** emphasized that students should develop awareness of Artificial Intelligence and keep themselves updated with emerging technologies. She encouraged students to understand the career opportunities and future prospects associated with AI.
The resource person also interacted with the students and created awareness about the scope of AI and the employment opportunities in this rapidly developing field.
The programme was attended by faculty members and students of the **Computer Applications and Computer Science departments**. The guest lecturer was felicitated with a flower plant as a token of appreciation.
