On the occasion of National Tourism Day, an awareness programme was organized by the Department of History on 25 January 2026. The programme was presided over by Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari, Principal, who highlighted the growing importance of the tourism sector and its vast potential for generating employment opportunities at national and global levels.
Sri P. Bhaskara Rao, Lecturer in History, addressed the students and explained the significance of tourism, introducing major tourist destinations across India and their cultural and economic value. The programme witnessed the participation of the Vice Principal, IQAC Coordinator, and teaching faculty members, making the session informative and meaningful for students.
