Officials from the Prohibition & Excise Department, Tadepalligudem, namely Circle Inspector Smt. E. Swarajya Lakshmi Garu and Sri K. Dorababu Garu, Sub Inspector, visited S.Ch.V.P.M.R. Government Degree College, Ganapavaram as part of a collaborative awareness initiative with the college Eagle Club on 11.02.2026.
The officials proposed the inclusion of departmental staff as members of the Eagle Club to jointly conduct awareness programmes on drug abuse and illicit trafficking. They also requested the college to communicate any related issues for timely coordination and support. The activity was coordinated by the Eagle Club Coordinator, Sri N. V. N. B. Srinivasa Rao, Lecturer in Chemistry.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of the Principal, Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari, who emphasized the importance of institutional collaboration with enforcement agencies to create awareness and ensure a safe and drug-free campus.
